Does anyone know any suppliers of Pearlescent vinyl? 😕
I believe Avery do a range (special order probably).

Also has anyone here used it before?
    How easily does it cut?
    And how conformable is it?

    Regards
    Marty

    Marty,

Hexis do it in several forms, and Dorotape aswell. I have used the dorotape “bright overall” film which is like the double sided chrome polyester film to work with. Easy enough to cut but tears easy and a little fiddly to weed depending on the design youre cutting !
In my experience if the film has a double sided finish it will be quite thin and single sided a lot thicker. The “aurora” film from dorotape is REALLY hard to cut and even worse to weed.
Conformable ? no deffinately not !!

    Cheers Nigel.

Was wondering bout it because someone I know had heard about and wanted some car door grapihcs done in it. But the design he wants would have to go over the trim on the doors.

I’d steer clear if i were you marty, that stuff isn’t good outdoors for long anyway and on a vehicle it would be worse still.
