does anyone know a proven vinyl suitable for colour lasers
Until recently we have have been buying a proper pvc exterior quality vinyl from Grafityp to run through our A3 Colour copier. However, they now tell me their source has dried up and they can no longer supply this.
Apart from the obvious Magic Touch CL media (which isn’t vinyl) does anyone know of a proven vinyl suitable for colour lasers/copiers.
I have done quite a bit of research in the past and know its all about the coating, in the same way that inkjet media is coated for specific use, but have struck a blank so far. Mactac are being helpful sending samples of various products but so far none have been suitable.
Any help would be much appreciated!

I just received a catalogue from The Vinyl Corporation and they seem to have something similar to Grafityp. Haven’t tried it myself and does seem a bit more expensive.

I have contacted them and they are sending a sample. Their pricing seems to be for ones and twos at £1.50 for an A4 so they are going to quote me for boxes of 100.
I will let you know how I get on.

I have spoken to them and it seems this is a polyester also. They are sending a sample so again once I have trialed it I will post my results in case anyone else is interested.
Since all their sales staff are at NEC I am due to see them at the show tomorrow to discuss prices etc.
