  • does anyone have details of the letterhead meet in wales?

Posted by Paul Franklin on 2 August 2007 at 21:00

It was mentioned in another post that a Dave Kynaston might be having a letterhead meet in Wales this month (August).

Anyone got any details or know where I can find out where, when, how much etc?

    Thanks

Peter, I wonder if anyone else from the boards is going besides you and Lynn. I had a look when it was first mentioned but it is not really my thing. Should be good for those who are going though looked like quite a varied workshop program.

Martin we are also not painters, but to go and experience it just watch, they have amazing talents, have a go if you like the guy’s and girls that do it have infinite patience with numpties like us, they love what they do, it’s the best chill out you can have 😀 not sure if anyone else is going or not. be nice if they were.

You don’t have to paint to enjoy yourself at a Letterhead meet.
There is plenty of beer and good people too.
Hey Lynn look up my Canadian friend John Lennig and his wife.
If there is dancing, watch him go.
Mike Meyer will be there again too.
I don’t know many USA people who are going, but it is bound to be a good time.
David Kynaston is a class act.
I would love to see his farm and all the other sights.
    I just can’t make it.
    🙁

Lynn I know they have amazing talents, so being there watching would just make me more depressed 😳

Jill I don’t drink so I would be right out of place and as I have absolutely no talent either I would never fit in 😥

    Lynn, what’s a paint brush?

I really wanted to go but had no one to go with …… 🙁 didn’t want to go on my own. Tried to talk my daughter into it but it’s her birthday on the 10th and she didn’t want to be away on her birthday. 🙁

    wish I was going.
