It was just a quick Live trace in Illustrator and I am not getting it to work quite right, thought it would turn out better. Moomin reaper is not easy idea to work with.

That will explain what moomins are.
The Moomins are the central characters in a series of books by Finnish writer Tove Jansson, originally published in Swedish. They are a family of Scandinavian trolls who are white, round and furry in appearance, with large snouts that make them resemble hippopotamuses.I’ve seen every episode(you sad git)

Got the music like you on mp3 and for other shows too. I watched it on cartoon network before they made you pay for it. Seen all the Flintstones, jet sons, Adams family, top cat, hong kong fooey, magic circus…etc as well.
Andy you nicked my idea you telepathic mind thief you 😀

Michael, yeah it was hand drawn using the pen tool, drawn as a line (stroked path) and then the lines converted to outlines. Once converted to outlines shapes all welded together. Compounded paths were then released to give the centre shapes fill colours.
I find using a stroked path gives an even line thickness all the way around when you have a fill colour and an outline colour.Hope this helps.

I remember the Moomins. Only because my children used to watch it in the early 90’s. It was a charming cartoon with a lovely theme tune 😀
I never understood it all mind you – it went way above my head, yet somehow struck a chord 😮 I think the theme tune went something like:
Moomins, everybody loves good Moomins, With a little understanding, you can find a perfect day 😕
