    hi,

Does anyone apply vinyl wet?, when maybe working with a big cumbersome graphic which could be prone to air bubbles.

If people do, can they tell me what solution works best, as I should be applying some frosting to some panels in a new gallery up the road from here and I heard applying it wet is a bit easier.

    thanks for any help.

    cheers

    Sam

"All print supplies" they will do you a free sample bottle of rapid tac 2.
if "it must be wet" ide advise on that.

do not get trapped in the bubble of wet application. the way forward is dry. always dry. 😉

If you are going to apply wet a very small amount of own brand washing up liquid in a spray bottle works fine. Do a couple of tests especially if using app tape to make sure you don’t have too much soap or spray too much on, you soon get used to how much to put in.

And make sure you don’t get water tapped as a bubble. It’s harder to get out then just air and if your doing frost the light coming through the window will make it stand out if you leave it behind.

So go easy on the fluid, spray a light mist and use nice overlapping squeegee strokes.
