    Hi

phone up Mutoh then you’ll get costly, i payed £739.56 for 2 heads, 6 dampers & 6 capping stations delivered to my door. It would have cost me double from Roland. Had no problems with the two heads or dampers not fitted the capping stations yet.

they don’t understand urgent but other than they SEEM ok to deal with, i payed via credit card to give a little added protection. You can speak to them by phone although i ordered by WWW which may have been the reason for the delay.

thats in the USA so you can add import tax, carriage & then VAT on to that. If you check through old posts you will see that this discussion has been had many times.

Also judging by the serial number on the head in the picture they are not genuine parts as Roland don’t use all of the numbers on there heads don’t know about Mutoh or Mimaki. They work i actually have 4 in my Roland did have six but 2 have just blown after just 18 months, hence the 2 new Roland heads i have just fitted.

thanks really appreciate the help so buying from digi print was everything genuine and working correctly also did you fit the heads yourself

as stated parts i have fitted are all fine, i fitted my parts myself but i’m an engineer or Ex engineer & have worked on solvent coding machines in the past so do have some experience. The Roland has a multi part head set up that if you don’t have a manual or know what you are doing you would never get them aligned correctly i would presume the Mutoh to be the same, you will also need access to the service menu don’t know how to access that on a Mutoh. You can also damage expensive heads very quickly if the serial etc are not entered correctly as this is the coding for the crystal inside the head. Obviously don’t know your history but if you ain’t sure it may be worth while getting an engineer to fit them.
