i have heard of LG vinyl, but never tried. ill be honest, from reports on the boards its not the best. but i guess it depends on the individual and what you are using it for.

    Hi, Jet,

Actually I’m working for LG Chem.
So I can’t say much of the VIZUON Vinyl because I don’t want to
    break the forum rule. 🙂

But if you want to gather more information about LG’s products from
forum members, you’d better saying just "LG vinyl" or "LC 7000 plus"
    instead of saying "LG VIZUON".
I think our brand name is not so wide spread in the market yet.
So if you mention "LG VIZUON", members may not know WHAT IT IS.

Anyway, I hope every users can recognize our brand name in near
    future. 😉

(Of course, we will do our best to bring up the brand recognition until
    everybody can say "LG VIZUON".)

LG is distributed by Ricky Richards pty ltd here in OZ (and maybe NZ?). They have asked me to consider changing over to their digital print media from Oracal, and offer very good pricing, but admit the life of the vinyl is not as good as the Oracal equivilent, in the harsh aussie conditions.

The Oracal 3551 polymeric is 5 year, and is better than the LG equivilent that is only rated 3 years.

The best value is the lower grade LG, for promotion work, as it competes with the Oracal lower grade on price very well.

    Cheers

    hi jake…
yeh, i knew LG chem was your product…
to be honest, the name IS known in the UK. probably just not known well enough as some…
IF i am right… it maybe getting known for the wrong reasons.
does LG have a high grade/life cast vinyl?
if it does, maybe the smaller disributers are only pushing the budget grade stuff your company offers?

i would be intrested in any info you on the product. feel free to email me at admin@uksignboards.com

    Hi Guys

I use LG Chem and other brands as well and find it comparable, great performance for the price, the new visuon I have to say isnt a lot differnt to the 7000 range in everyday use. I know others on the boards here who use it and havent heard any adverse comments. been using it four years myself with no failures my only comment would be that certain colours dont lay well over others ie red will bleed through a lighter colour laid over the top so if I know I am doing multi layer like this I swap to mactac or graphityp which are better in this regard.
Aps sell loads of it so its ticking boxes somewhere out there

I’ve used LG for years. The product is good, the prices from APS are excellent and service first class.

    Hi guys

    Hello Jake,

My computer and I were at a 48 hour LAN network share over the weekend. A bunch of people get together and share files via a Local Area Network connection. I am returning as quickly as possible.

I would like to know about LG 7000 plus and LG vinyl. and how much do you guys charge?

Is Shane correct, is Ricky Richards pty ltd the representative in New Zealand? Can you tell me who is the/are Representative in New Zealand

Wow, thank you all for offering a list of recommendations, along with the testimonial.

Thanks Richard, I’ll be watching out for those results

    By the way Jake,

Great faith by employees is an encouraging trait, and any company of similar size or larger would do well to have such loyal and commendable employees. Sometimes, the personal touch is lost when company pride is missing.

I’m using colour plus, flock and flex by lotus transfers international, and I’m importing the material from Germany. (it is well worth me doing this, as I haven’t found alternatives that match the quality, and the price.)

Colour plus is of particular interest to me, and I was wondering if LG Chem has a product that does the same thing. It is a media that accepts the full colour spectrum of pigmented solvent ink (i’m using ecosolvent). The media can be cut, and it is pressed onto clothes. Does LG 7000 plus do that?
