  • do older routers hold their value?

Posted by David Rowland on 3 March 2006 at 19:06

Hello we just had an attractive offer from a popular brand of CNC router, it is rack pinon and comes with two Perske heads.

The bad news is that it is 9 years old.

Do we give this a consideration? do routers hold value?
What items should we look at when examining it?

    Cheers
    Dave

    buy buy buy.
not much to go wrong beside transport, pay for itself in months.
you will be amazed how much cnc work you will sell when you have one in house. Instead of offering a cheap vinyl sign, you’ll offer one with cnc letters 2x the price 😀 😀
My router is 1995 will post a picture tomorrow to show what she has done

    Dave
old routers never die, they just get a little play in their spindles.
