do i have to laminate floor graphics?
I have to quote on some graphics which will be plotted ex a single colour vinyl. They’re each about A4 size and 40 of these are to be applied for long term to a vinyl floor. The floor area is a high foot traffic area.
With the potential to slip on a gloss vinyl graphic, my thought is that I will need to over laminate the each graphic. This should solve the potential slip problem, and may even extend the life of the graphics.
My normal vinyl supplier recommends a 100 micron frosty clear soft PVC laminate that they sell by the roll to the wide format digital print guys. Unfortunately my supplier only sells it by the 50M roll (1M wide) and thats way too much for me.
So what would you use for an over laminate?
Anyone have a few metres that they would be willing to sell to me?
Cheers
Alan
