Disposing of Old Neon Tubes
We are retro fitting LED’s into a large Neon Sign and will have a large amount of redundent neon can anyone advise on correct disposal procedures for this.

I’d try asking a neon supplier as they’ll be used to dealing with the handling & disposal of mercury.

We had a large quantity of flourescent tubes to dispose of recently and found our local City Electrical trade supplier has a recycling box for tubes at a cost of 12p each – maybe they take neon tubes too
