Digital print and lacquer – help needed please?
Hi all,
I have a client that wants a sticker on his Harley’s petrol tank, i was thinking of using Metamark MD-BS (sliver polished digital vinyl). My question is does it need to be laminated as he will be putting lacquer on top once applied.

The md-bs is quite a thick vinyl, and not really conformable.
Not sure about the laminating on these though?

We do quite a lot of printed stuff for petrol tanks and race bikes, and we never laminate, as they are all laquered. This is how the spray painter prefers them, as it keeps the vinyl thin.
