I have a roland vp-540 and i’m about to place orders for stock for it.

Who are the best suppliers, i always use metamark for my normal vinyls, and they have given me ok price, but somebody mentioned graphityp would be cheaper, however the sales guy who sold the machine said metamark is better.

    Any opinions??????

    thanks jof.

I suppose it depends on who sold you the machine as to what you get told.

I wouldn’t be so naive to suggest one supplier or materials are better than another, what I will say is that through all of us suppliers you will find what you need.

When i had a versacamm sp300 the best print that i ever got was a product from victory design, it was a multifix 6500 i think. I’ve never achieved a print as good on any other material, grafityp 5-7 year was pretty good.

The only reason that i stopped using it was down to price, when i first got into digital print i believed that i had to get the best quality print out there on the market so that the locals could see what a great job i do. I paid twice the price of the budget vinyls all to get a quality finish.
The problem was that the customers didn’t care, they just wanted a good job done for next to nothing.
Its still the same now, i could pay twice as much as i do but i know that the vast majority of my customers do not care. Shame.
