Posted by Peter Cox on July 24, 2006 at 9:15 amI think I have lost my marbles. Whilst at Sign UK I spent a whole lot of time talking to a supplier re a new plotter that has the facility for die cutting and for the life of me I can’t remember who it was :banghead: ……… can anybody help me as I am now in the market for one.
Thanks in advancePeter

Is that what you have then John? is it good?

yep.. the mimaki certainly does but we dont use that feature, it knackers ur blades when I have used it.
I beleive Summa cutters can die cut too. -
Yes Nick. I bought one as a package with the JV3.
I think it is ok, at least on the demo when the machine was installed it seemed to work well. We haven’t actually used it in anger ourselves because we have never been asked to die cut anything. Contour cutting is as far as we go. 😀

Take your pick, Mimaki, Mutoh, Summa, SignPal,Graphtec any good machine manufacturer will have a machine in their line up that will die cut.
