Dibond Pylon Sign
Hey guys,
I’ve always wanted to build a pylon sign so I am going to build one for myself.
The dimensions I am thinking are 1-1.2 metres wide and the height to be 2.4-3metres tall.
I was going to weld the frame out of steel.
My questions are as follows.
When I route the dibond to create the fold how do I fix it to the steel on the sides so it appears seamless or no screws? VHB Tape? Should I fill the gap between the dibond panels with a sealant?
With the frame how many horizontal supports should I weld in to help with wind load.
How should I fix it into the ground? Concrete the frame straight into the ground? Weld plates and dynabolt it into a concrete slab? And then fix my dibond panels to the frame?
