    Hello

Have attach some diabond panels to painted wood panels without going through the face.

Pans aren’t an option due to cost so it has to be something sticky.

I’ve read on the boards that penlock may cause rippling to show because of different expansion/contraction rates.

Has anyone used any of the foam tapes to permanently fix aluminium composite to a painted wood panel?

Or does anyone know a better way?

James, if the backing is of decent quality, vhb tape(of the correct grade)
shouldn’t be a problem(might need varnishing to give a surface for the tape to get a hold of)

    Tks Fred

Got some 3M 4611 and primer from Viking, just got to stick 77 acrylic characters to 3 x sky-bond blanks now before taping then up (hopefully).

Don’t know whether to go for tape again or that Simon stuff that one of the suppliers mentioned.
