Phoned Spandex got through to a nice Bristolian Girl! and got a price – an experience probably akin to pulling teeth, she asked me my name about three times what width I wanted about four times and what product I wanted about 5 times, I only needed 10m of vinyl!

Then she went through it all again to convert the details from a price to a sale and charged me a different price to that which she quoted me!!!

I hope theres a Spandex rep that reads these boards coz Id like some feed back on how bad it was trying to place an order. Spandex sort your SH – one – T out (hot)

My advice on to anyone new to spandex thinking of placing an order with spandex is – dont if theres an alternative use it 🙁

and with out an account you would have been hard work for them – still not an excuse thou I have to say that over the past 18 odd years i ring them with a order and i get it next day that’s about it really not much more to say when a mess up happens very rare they sort it quick. i have only ever seen the rep twice in that time and once to tell me i had won £500 of free vinyl that was nice.
i dint love em or anything just your experience was most unfortunate.

John, you must have had a rare bad experience there. Spandex are and have been a supplier of ours for some eight years and on the whole are very good at what they do. The only thing I could gripe about is that the delivery company they use sometimes lets them down. Give them another go and I am sure they’ll redeem themselves. 10 mtrs???? You mean to tell me that you can buy 10 mtrs of viny ??? The carriage must be more than the vinyl !!!!!!
