De chroming a car, advice needed please?

I’ve done a few now and would say your looking at a couple of hours possibly more depending on the vehicle. Can be really tedious if you have to tuck the material under rubber seals. Here’s a q50 I done a few months back. Centre of grill was black already

I think you can buy pre cut rolls for the top door moldings cant remember where from but will help with the cost.

I have de chromed a black 6 series convertible BMW with gloss black wrap vinyl.
Easy to do……I didn’t remove any of the trim and really changed the look of the car.

As said just a case of making sure everything is tucked in neatly.
