    Could anyone let me know how much they would charge for:

    Daily Rate [2 full days] + travel etc……
    On an Oil Rig 😕 Helicopter and maybe Safety Course…

    £35 per hour (incuding travelling time + 30p per mile.

    Starting at a grand….for 2 full days on site (2x12hours) & travel expenses. A bit thrown in for the ‘hassle’ and check your insurance will cover you!!

    If you had to break it down and itemise it…….how would you charge the non-working hours [can’t leave….etc]

    Andrew, I would only take advice from someone who has had similar jobs to do, Offshore work is nothing like land based contracts.
    Im not sure, but I think Gorden (goop) Works on the rigs, he may have a better idea than most.
    If you are doing a one off, and quoting in competition with others there is a lot to consider.
    Such as:-

    What happens if you screw something up? or forget a tool, will you be able to nip back to the shop?
