    Hi All,

My previous cutter broke so it has been replaced with a Summacut D60/U.

Now I have the dreaded set-up of the plotter using a Mac (os 10.5) Signcut x2 and a keyspan serial cable.I have searched and email support from both Summa & Signcut as I cannot find any documentation on this.

Has anyone set-up Summas on Macs before?

Where do you find or what drivers did you require (no disk was supplied)

Any help would be great as i have a back log of work mounting up.

    regards

    Darryl

    Hi Darryl,

when working on OSX you don’t need to bother with USB drivers and such. The SignCut software should have the USB driver embed in it’s code.
So simply select the right cutter from the options menu, hook up your device with the cable and your off.

    Hi SumRandi,

Cheers for the advise, I worked through it with the help of Harry Davis- hes a genius but hates Macs.

Thanks for your time an input in trying to help.
