  • Cutting software recommendations?

At the moment I do all designs in Illustrator, then redo ’em in Gerber Omega for anything that will print on our Edge2 and our Summa DC3+ just needs a illy file to print with. I’m happy with Illustrator and want to keep that as the design tool. Every single piece of software I’ve seen comes bundled with some form of design tool. I’m not to keen on paying loads and loads for functions I’ll never use. So far I’m not quite friends with the WinPlot program that came with the cutter. Our old cutter software (Procut XP) has some quirks and bugs, and I’m not sure if we should continue using that.

What program would you recommend for use as a cutting program only?

    Isn’t winplot a plug-in for illustrator?

WinPlot is a standalone application and the plugin just acts like a bridge between the two.
