I have used the green ‘self healing’ cutting mats for donkeys years now and find they don’t really ‘self heal’ too well! I have heard that one sign firm use GLASS to trim their vinyls on 😮 this just sounds dodgy to me but maybe it works? what do most ppl on here use? any help would be appreciated

    Hi Paul
Try searching on here for ‘cutting mats’, there was a discussion going on a while back, as a result of which I had a bench made with a glass top. You can cut on glass as long as the blades are stainless steel. Works well, but blunts blades really quickly.

I like my polyprop sheet, some like glass, others steel – each has it’s upsides & downsides.

been using glass for 12 years. Can’t imagine using anything else now. As has been said tho, lots of opinions here

of course, I’m right, and they are wrong… remember that :lol1:
