Further to this I can bring launch CM2 to bring up the registration marks??

after a ‘google’, appears to be a problem between the two programs, same thing happens with Illustrator.
One answer on the forums was to go to the Graphtec America website and download CM from there (this is what i did tbh)
Don’t ask me why Graphtec GB don’t keep their drivers up to date and if you are reading this, please start doing so!

Hi Jason had all kinds of problems with cm2 and x4 using version 1.6 and all seems to working
regarding the time out error could your cable run be too long? -
Cheers, tried a shorter cable and still getting the same error message

Jason,
Another thing to look for is your AntiVirus software (if your using it that is)??.
I noticed on first install of cutting master (doesn’t matter which version) my McAfee asked for permission to run the program. Cutting master is essentially a macro so maybe it’s being stopped without your choice.
I’ve used all versions of Cutting Master 2 with Corel up to x4 now with no problems other than when leaving cutting master open all day while cutting big jobs it sometimes disconnects.Just a thought?
