    Hi all.
    Can anybody please help me???.
I have bought a Liyu SC631E-630 cutter plotter and got SignCut
    Productivity Pro with it.
I run them on windows vista.
I have the cutter connected up to com4.

Every time i go to cut my image out everything starts to get ready
and just before the cutter starts my computer crashes and then restarts up.

Can anybody give me some advice on what could be wrong.

    Thanking you all,
    Louise

My first thought is it may be COM4. Can you not configure it for COM1? It shouldn’t really matter but it’s worth a chance.

Hi thank you for getting back to me.
Do you know how i can do that.
    This is new to me.
I only have 3 usb hubs on my laptop and when i plug the cutter in to
any of them it comes up com4,com5 or com6.
thank you for all your help.

Have you had this working in the past or is this an install problem?

usb hubs will prob do com4’s etc, thats probably correct.

When you define crashing, in what way? does your mouse freeze and then screen goes black and then automatically restarts?

Some laptops seem to have more power on certain USB sockets.

Maybe not related to power but just a consideration.

Can you give more info on what you have and whats connected where etc.

I think i might have it sorted.

I changed the com4 to com1 in the device manager and closed all
programs and Internet and it started cutting straight away.

Hopefully this will stop all my problems.

Only starting out and so far its been a bad start 🙁

Thank you to everybody who helped me out. 😀 😀
