Score through half way with a Stanley knife, then snap over the edge of a table. The
underneath should have a good clean edge.

Speak to black burn metals the cut are grey backed composite to size and supply channel cut to size, and they can attach it for you or supply it cut to size and you attach after you have laid the graphics

I score from both sides and, as has been suggested, snap over the end of a bench.

(If you only cut a few pieces you might find the small exakt circular saw will suit – I found it easy to use)

You might want to try your local road-sign supplier for odd bits of channel (take a look on the back of a road-sign to see who supplied them) I used to work for a company who produced them up in the Midlands and we’d occassionally supply short lengths of channel)
