    Hi

Can any one point me in the direction of an acrylic supplier that perhaps has off the shelf shapes that can be used for directory signs, such as the one Carrie showed us a while back

    http://www.uksignboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=19011

Whilst I have a supplier that I use nearby the lead time is about 3 weeks and they have a minmum order charge of £100 – Just wondering whether there is an alternative to this and any suppliers you can recommend.

Also can anybody see any possible problems with doing the directions all on one sheet, rather than lots of smaller rectangles like in Carries’ post. Ie expansion etc

    Many thanks

    Russ

You could try Floreeda on 0161 442 3551

Best to ask for silicon acrylic rather than clear acrylic as when the edges are flame polished, it has a green tinge making the system look like solid glass.

daves right on the polished dges, does give it a better finish.
however, if you are just after the shapes, why not try a trade letter supplier? i dont think it will make a difference if you supply the file to cut.
that way you only pay for what you use. i would think you will pay for the full sheet size then the cutting service from an acrylic supplier.
there is a few offer this service but a good start would be brimark, advert on home page.
