curved lightbox & alu frame – suppliers?
hi all
need some help on this one, customer wants a light box (8ft x 2ft) but the bottom (8ft) has to have a wave in it something like this ~ but not so sharp end angles, if that makes sense! any one know of a suppler who could do this my usual don’t, any ideas?
the second problem of the day is i have been asked to quote for some signs for a restored railway station, i have done these before, made from timber and cast iron letters just how they had been 100 years age, the customer now wants one that look the same or very similar but not made from timber IE less maintenance
i was thinking of using dibond boards with router cut foamex letters fitted to board with 3m vhb tape, the main problem is the frame, i know about stock frame and it would look the part but it is no good on dibond as the two expand at different rates and the corner joints move, due to the style of sign i can not use their new corner cap.
does any one know if some one makes a ally frame to a similar pattern as the stock frame, but the panel fixes like panatrim? or any other ideas would be a great helpthanks

As Cheryl says SMP will make the light box.Insight sign systems make Dibond frames. 0161 339 6355.
