Cromalin is colour proofing, some print rips have a cromalin simulation function

Cromalin is a proofing system by Du-Pont originally. Relates to litho print rather than digital. Some digital devices can simulate Cromalin as close as possible. If the client knows it’s digital output they I have no idea why they are going on about cromalin. Unless they are trying to look like they know something about print.

Cromalin is a dying process with the quality and calibration of current digital proofing devices.

    Digital Cromalin info here…

I dont think it applies to the mimaki or Roland type printers that most people have on here.
