    Hi Guys and Girls,

I’ve just upgraded from the Creation CT 630 to the new CB 730 which I’ve got to say has so far been the best upgrade ever!

I can now send jobs from my laptop or PC over blue tooth rather then moving usb cables around!

Just thought I’d start this post to see if anyone else has purchased one and if so I’m more then willing to assist you with any problems you might have.

    Kind Regards,
    Stuart Macfarlane

PS: Here are my new settings that seem to cut 1cm letters perfectly!

    Software
    Offset: 0.030cm
    Overcut: 0.060cm

    Hardware
    Cutter Speed: 0005
    Cutter Force: 410

The above settings are used in combination with JAC Serical range of vinyl but obviously may vary depending on your material and blade depth.

I set my blade by eye and using a credit or debit card make sure it sticks out no further then the full width of the card.

Your welcome Robert, I hope they help as I feel this will be the definitive replacement for the old budget CT 630 that is widely sold at the moment.

As mentioned above if anyone has any problems what so ever just drop a reply to this thread and I will try to assist to the best of my ability in helping you get setup.

    Hi Jason,

Only three things spring to mind:

    1) What is your Cutter Force set to?

    2) Are the fans turning on when the machine starts to cut? These fans actually suck the vinyl down keeping it as good as flat.

    3) Try reducing the blade by a quarter or even half turn, As a measurement I put a credit card up against mine and its only sticking out 1/2 the thickness of a credit card!

Hope that helps you start trouble shooting!

    Hi Jason,

Depends on what software your using… I personally use FlexiSign because its what I’ve been using for many years now.

    Hi Stuart.
I’m hoping you maybe able to help me, eight weeks ago I brought a PCUT CB 730 but before I could set it up I ended up in hospital, now I’m ready to set it up I find I’ve got no driver disk, I went back to the shop only to find it was burnt out in the riots and is on longer trading,, and just to add to my luck the drivers on the Creation web site don’t work, I’m hoping you may know someone in the UK that has the drivers to download.
    Kind Regards
