    Hi all
not made many light boxes so i would like some help please, the file shows a solid yellow to flood coat the acrylic. I have then cut out to allow the light to come through where the white is shown
any comments on this or should i use transparent yellow as well
    thanks rich

Rich depends what effect you want, translucent yellow will allow more light through obviously but ordinary will be fine too. I might have some tranny yellow I will look for you on tuesday.

Design is fine, although bird looks like its upside down

John agree with either vinyl and yes the bird looks like it’s on a mission 🙄

    Hi Richard

Rather than flood coating and layered vinyl etc., you could look at ‘printing’ the entire image. The options for use are as either a flexface lightbox or a high quality ‘Duratrans’ faced lightbox (Opal acrylic / duratrans/clear acrylic face structure) or with the full image printed onto clear vinyl and mounted directly to a plain opal acrylic face. Hope that makes sense!

how did we get to this!!!
    thanks all
John this is the sign that is on the building opposite my place, we got on the roof today and reached over !!!!!!!!

If you get time may be we could go over this

oh and the bird is heading in the right direction or so I’m told i have made a few signs for this church this one is up very high and we were going to scaffold the job but when going up on the roof through a hatch on the inside we thought it was possible to safely change old for new. My mate who sometimes works for me helped, while i was unscrewing the top trim he thought it fun to walk along the top of the building inches from the edge i WAS NOT HAPPY I had that awful feeling you get in your stomach. I will post some pics when fitting
