I ment to post these ages ago and I was taking pictures for my website, so I thought I’d post them now 😀 Nothing overly special, its the correx signs done following Robert’s demo with the Plast-Kut. I do a whole range of them now, but the 2 most popular I display in my shop. They stand 600mm tall, and are 400mm wide with a 200mm base. To make them freestanding, I use the VHB green tape and a tidgy bit of correx. They take about 10 minutes to make as a one off, but when you’re making a dozen or so, you can make them much more quickly.

Anyway, I said I’d post them up one day, so there they are. Thank you again to Robert for the demo.

    Cheers, Dewi

    They look great Dewi 😀

We were also very glad that Rob did a demo on them, even I made one it was so easy ….. I made a mini one and have it sat on my desk I was soooo proud …. I may sound sad but I dont get to do much hands on sign work so when I do make something Im like a kid with a new toy!! 😀 😛

The desktop/counter top ones are cool… if you print an A4 piccy with whatever the customer wants to advertise on the PC600, you just make up the mini A4 version of it and its like a point of sale thingy ma jiggy. I’ve sold quite a few of those as I can make them relatively quickly and cheaply, but they look good at the same time 😀 Also considered making leaflet holders in a similar way, but its alot of trial and error to get it right 😕

A4 size ones are very handy. We were having a go at the leaflet holders aswell but the thing we found a bit awkward is the making of the actual holder part …. bit tricky 😕

Signs look great Dewi. Simple but very effective.

Which demo was it that you saw them?

    Thanks
    Stuart
