Corner Rounder??
Posted by Rebecca on 14 January 2004 at 21:14Hi there
Does anyone know if you can get a corner rounder machine (for radius corners on foamboard/correx/magnetic etc) from anyone other than Jag Sign Supplies.
My customer is after a machine that can also punch a hole if there is one on the market.
Thanks

Hi Rebecca,
Suregrave do a couple of corner rounders:

Although I’m not sure whether these machines are capable of punching holes. We’ve got a punch from Machine mart, that is quite happy knocking 6mm holes through .9mm brass in one go. Maybe worth a look

What sort of radius are you talking Rebecca?
If they are like the ones some print finishers use you may get a better price from a print finishing equip supplier.

Try Presco Tel: 01793 716300
They do a corner rounder that looks better than the one in the link above.

Thanks for the repiles.
The suregrave machines look just the same as the ones from Jag, I’ll check how the price compares and give presco a ring.
My customer deals in safety signs and is looking for holes and radius similar to the ones on the standard signs from the big safety stockists, so the size will probably vary to the size of the sign. Also the quantity we do for them can be anything upwards of 1off.
Thanks

Rebbeca
Presco one is £99.40 in my catalogue Ref: 4440 comes with a 6mm radius die.
Other dies cost £18.55Ive also just discovered you can fit a 6mm hole punch die to it aswell.
