    Windows 8 and Corel X5 don’t mix I’m afraid..

I had the same, you need to upgrade to X6 for it to work

You should notice quite an improvement with X6, it will work even faster on a 64 bit machine and has been written to use the cores better..

Bit odd as I was running X5 on Windows 8 no problems at all, it did report compatibility issues to start with, but after ticking off to never show this again it did not cause more glitches than Corel normally has… Did you manage to resolve this or upgraded to X6?
