Corel Duplicating Problem
Posted by Chris Rundle on 4 March 2010 at 18:50Hi all, having a bit of a problem with my corel draw X4.
anything i do/move it duplicates not just one but loads and its so irritating i keep having to do system restores to get rid of it.
any help would be really appreciated
i don’t think its any thing major and the software is all legal with the license keys etc
cheers,

I get that on Corel 12, I have to save the file that duplicates which then seems to clear it

I’m trying to recall what used to cause mine to do it, does your head in! if i recall, it was when i had winamp going in the background, would sometimes mess up the cutter too,
touch wood it’s not done it for a while now so i guess it’s now sorted! 😕

I would be interested in the solution to this as mine regularly does this when
moving a selected item
I end up undoing and moving with the nudge keys seems to be fine then
Annoying thoughTerry

yes…I get this on corel 10….a glitch which tends to clear up if I restart everything……annoying yes.

lol, that’s a point, i seem to recall something to do with a keyboard, num lock or something stupid?
hmmm. -
my culprit is Corel 12
Closing and reopening the program seems to clear itI wondered if i had unknowingly clicked a feature

Sounds like something is pressing down on your space bar. Depressing the bar adds a duplicate.

i remember commenting about paperwork on the keyboard in the past..

think we have just fixed ours by reducing the repeat rate and time it was on flat out.
as we narrowed it down to do with the arrow and shift nudge keys.
enjoy
