Good morning, having a bit of trouble with cut lines. I use a font then change it to convert outline to object and it works, sometimes. Then when i try it with a simple object IE basic logo it really doesn’t like it. Sorry i know this has probably been ask a million times but does anyone have a simple guideline to cutting in guideline. Do i need to covert to curves, do i need to convert outline to object? Cheers f

Chris your post has me slightly confused to be honest.

Don’t convert outlines to an object.
The cutter needs details of lines being sent to it.

By all means convert text to curves.

Try also setting the the line weight to 0.01 point.

Are you cutting direct from corel using just the jaguar printer driver?

well, there’s a menu in the top left, i set that to coreldraw and now its fixed it, how come it had changed? thanks for your help though. The logo was really only text with a few shapes behind it.

im sure ill be back soon though!! 😳

You need to make sure your plotter page size is set to your page size in Corel.
For example: With 61 cms. wide vinyl I set Corel page at 58 cms. x 200 cms. (or whatever length you want) then set your plotter to exactly the same size.
Everything selected in your Corel page should then cut, but check it out in Print Preview first.

Make sure your line thickness is set to 0.001mm. I have the Jag III and anything thicker will not be cut.
