    Hi Everyone.
I am running corel 10 and can copy and paste from various text documents and then convert the text to artistic text so then I can then mess about with it and convert it to curves on Corel.
Not so the case when copy and paste from my word doc…thought it was about time I found out how without having to retype every word….
how do you do this.? once dropped into Corel from word…i am not given the option to convert to artistic text…and if i try to do anything with it …it gives me an internal window with text in it…which I don’t know how to modify and convert to curves…
any knowledge on this subject would be very great fully received.
    Thank you in advance
    Cx

    Hi Cheryl.
I have no idea if this will work, but if the text is not too big/wordy, try copying from Word and pasting onto Notepad, then copying that and pasting into Corel?
Or copy and paste the text into an email and send it to yourself, then copy and paste that into Corel.
    I’m on Corel 12.
    Good luck!
    Love…..Jill

In Corel – Edit – Paste special – Rich Text.
It will come in as papragraph text probably, convert to Artistic from there.

Don’t want to teach you to suck eggs Cheryl.

Just so you know the text will come in as RGB black, not a true black for print.

Cheryl, just incase you were considering upgrading to X4 the rich text paste option now gives you an option to:
    Maintain fonts and formatting
    Maintain formatting only
    Discard fonts and formatting
    Force CMYK black
Import tables as tables or text
    plus separators as
commas, tabs, paragraphs or user defined.
