    Evening all,

    We’re about to have a new windows 2008 server delivered and some new accounting software but can anyone recommend a good (preferably stealth) way of blocking certain websites like the social networking ones, MSN messenger and by keyword.

    Looking for something either freeware or cheap!

    Thanks in advance
    Andy

    It’s a router issue rather than server. Our Netgear router does similar.

    Coincidentaly, my weekend will be taken up by installing a new server. Mac in our case though. 😀

    Thanks for the recommendation Dave, I picked up a second hand draytek 2800 with the URL blocking etc.

    Just installed it today and it works a treat, no more;

    Bebo
    facebook
    myspace
    twitter
    and more…

    and no chat progs either!!!

    Wish I had a webcam to catch the look on their faces when they get the "content blocked – contact your network administrator" error :rofl:
