Company van: what do you think can I go with that style…?
Posted by Tim de Beir on 6 February 2014 at 11:57Hi guys, after 2 years finally into designing the lettering for my van…
The idea is: an interceptor car that helps clients with their advertising 🙂 Like first medical aid but then for signing…On sides only company logo, and ‘first graphical aid circle’ on the back description of what I do

I like the design but think it will leave people trying to figure out what you do…

Hi,
it’s a really good design. But i agree, it will confuse people. I would change the cross part as it looks like military medical aid. I think if you put some different wording within the circle it will be brilliant. i would use that space to list services and products you offer. I would not try to theme the vehicle as an interception vehicle as it’s too complicated. Just my opinion. but other than that, i really like it and i think it will get you work.Liam

Hi guys, It’s been a while, have had surgery at my wrist (Carpal tunnel syndrome) and was out for 2 months now…
I have changed the van a little bit:
> It now says in Dutch: first aid with advertising
> my keywords, the things I do, form the white cross, some are highlighted in red
> changed colours a little -
I like the reply but it fails the "3 second rule" in 3 seconds I need to know what are you advertising…
It looks more like a medical supply van.

well under the logo CAVIAR GRAPHICS, stands advertising I sign, but in dutch 🙂
the white cross is filled with words like: glasfilms, carwrap, print, sign, banners, panels, etc -
ow and the white circle text says: first aid with sign and advertising

I like it, bold, what about adding a ‘fold’ to one side of the circle so it makes it look like it is lifting slightly, would look like a sticker then?

Looks good to me Tim, always hard when designing & trying to decide on "your own stuff"
