    Hey folks

I am thinking of using some colour cut or print garment vinyl with the gerber edge for printing full colour logos on to garments. However the rolls are 500mm wide and are not sprocketed, has anyone any experience of how printing can be achieved, and can vinyl colour settings be used?

I had thought of using spray mount to mount the colour cut on to a base layer of standard signage vinyl which is already sprocketed. Is this likely to work?

    Thanks for your help

    Regards

    Neil

Neil. I think you stand a good chance of damaging the head on your edge.

Spandex do make foils and materials for garments, although I have never tried them.

Well I would not try that on my Edge, you can get foils and materials from lots of suppliers now.

I got white material from grafitp , sprocketted.

I used standard foils and I must say very impressed.

They have stood up to washing alot better than some of the other inkjet/sublimation tranfsers I`ve tried.

The only problen sometimes is the registration of colours on the print.
