  • Clearing the Time for maintenance notice on Cadet?

Hi i was wondering does anyone know how to clear the "time for Maintenance" warning on the cadet, im not dodging getting it serviced as i had a problem with it and the engineer basically spent 3 days at it and did a lot of bluffing, a lot of things got changed and cleaned and im not really willing to put another £135.00 in his pocket to come out, clear the warning and leave again

I think you just need to go through the cleaning procedure described in your manual. This should be done weekly.

i do do the cleaning every week but it has started saying time for maintenance, this isnt a big problem as enter clears the warning but its for over weekends when it turns on to self clean it stops with this warning so it doesnt clean or turn off again 🙁

I take it you are doing a full manual clean – removing the LHS cover – heads over, wiped round malarky.

If you are – then either you are doing silly amounts of print to schedule it or there’s a really odd glitch in the firmware.
