  • Clear wrapping vinyl – Who else sells it?.

I`m currently using Europoint`s 3951G Clear wrapping vinyl but looking for an alternative as Europoint are no longer able to get deliveries to me early enough in the day.

Anyone else know of any companies who supply clear wrapping vinyl?. Wm Smith, Graphtyp etc only do white. 😕

    Cheers

I might be misunderstanding you mate, but wouldn’t any of the normal wrap vinyl over laminates be ok?

I think his after a clear cast vinyl Lee. I’ve seen guys use it and wrap metallic painted cars with it to get some really cool effects.

Allright…I’m being REALLY thick 🙂 isn’t the over laminate the same as the face stock for wrap vinyl?

    Hi Guys,

Jason is correct, we need the background colour of the vehicle to show throught the clear vinyl as the fade ends.

3951G is ok but i would like an alternative.

Not always no. Avery 1900 has DOL1030 as the laminate and that is a 30 micron film.

I like the idea of my suppliers having competition Richard. Keeps them on their toes and keeps prices competitive.

I currently have all my eggs in 1 basket which isn`t very smart.

Our main customers are huge fleet owners and they`re not very good at giving me advance warning of a truck or trucks turning up for wrapping.

Usually the first we know about it is when we come in to the yard in the morning and they are sitting there.

Getting next day deliveries turning up at 4.15pm is , in my opinion, next day and this cause us problems.
