    Hi Guys,

I have been asked to do a city link sprinter for an owner driver,
although the fleet owned vehicles are painted green, this is to be part wrapped.

The colour spec provided is a paint reference …. sooo…..
not trying to be to lazy about it….. anybody done these before and what is the prefered material and shade to match the fleet?????

They use Ritrama. It’s the only material that offers the correct green. But beware it’s crap so offering a guarantee wouldn’t be wise.

Take it from me, a lot have been done (especially the old livery) in Metamark and some in Avery

Beg to differ on Ritrama being crap.

They have three grades…a 3-5yr crap one, a 5-7 polymeric and a cast.

I use the 5-7 day in and day out & find it one of the better mid-priced polymeric vinyls…certainly for what I pay for it 🙂 Sure – it ain’t no 751c or 9800 – but it does me proud for most of my daily applications. I’ve had NO comebacks…ever.

But do agree it is not suitable for a proper wrap.

Dave, the one they stipulate is the correct colour. I have repaired a few because it won’t perform. They know this but state this is the one that must be used. I don’t do the signs for them I just visit a local bodyshop that carries out repairs on damaged vehicles.
