    Hey, just a few pics of a chrome roof done. Using Avery Material… not the easiest of cheapest of films to work with, but all in all went well!:)

    That’s nice.

    Has it got any air release system, how hard it is to prevent any scratches during installation?

    Where did you get it from? All my avery suppliers dont have it in stock, and how much for if you don’t mind.

    Very nice job Ben. How did you cut the vinyl at the front of the roof, where it curves to the door??

    Looks fab! My OH fancies doing our whole car in chrome! Did you need to clear coat over this to protect from scratches?

    looks great Ben, I am looking to try some of the supreme chrome sometime soon.

    I have only used the 3M cast chrome, but not the second generation version of it which i believe is coming into the uk soon.

    What did you find difficult about using it, was it when stretched it losses the chrome? only asking that as the 3M cast i used did this. so wondering if same issues.

    Done one of these the other day also. Originally used the Hexis but wasnt that impressed and ended up using the cast 3M with base vinyl.
