chicago night club logo help
Hi all, a bit of a mental block i think….
we have been commissioned with designing a new logo for a new night club soon to open called chicago nights.
I am having a little difficulties associating anything with chicago, any ideas?
I have discovered this sky line, which is pretty good
any help or advice appreciated

I’ve only been to Chicago twice (stopover on a train)
It’s a big city with tall buildings, the most famous being the Sears Tower.
It’s also on a big lake and has lots of canals/canal boat tours.
It is indeed known as the Windy City.
No mushy peas, just deep-dish pizza.
I think during Prohibition days (1920s) there were lots of gangsters.
That might not be a good image tho.

It is called the ‘windy city’, but not because of the wind. It was said that the politicians / bureaucracy were full of ‘hot air’ in Chicago and that’s how it became known as windy.
The attached pic is from Chicago the Musical – it might provide some inspiration.

Something similar to that image would be great.
Here are a few more random pix.
Chicago was decimated by a great fire, and has also hosted the World’s Fair more than once.
And Obama lives right near Chicago.
