  • Chevron kits, how long to fit?

I’ve a job to quote for which includes the fitting of a large amount of chevron kits on the rear doors of transit vans.
It’s just to under the window. Having never fitted chevrons before but am a very confident vinyl fitter, would I be far of the mark allowing 1.5 hours for two guys including prep.

    Thanks in advance

Depends on the kit some kits come in strips of fluorescent and reflective and would take a while to fit some come with the reflective laid on the fluorescent already and are very easy to fit. I’ve fitted a few william smith kits which come ready laid up and an hour for one man is more than enough. They really are very easy to fit.

Yeah I’ve look at both types of kits. Can’t see the point of the one supplied in pieces.

Fitted a William Smith kit on a Transit Custom high roof on friday. Easy to do, applied wet for the larger pieces and took about 25 mins.
