I think you will find that it is an old nifty lift but wouldn’t swear to it, should be a data/manufacturers plate on it if its missing you will struggle with loler test & being covered by insurance on it. It should be about 8.5mtr height if i remember right.

Should be another plate stating weights, wind speed etc which would be required for its test what year vehicle is it on

Unless your getting a really good price, I’d give that one a miss.

There’s a lot of better quality cherry pickers on ebay and autotrader.
And they are going for good money now.

    Tks everyone

Got this in an email from nifty:

    Dear James,

I do not recognize the manufacturer, although it looks somewhat similar to the Simon ‘Rascal’ that used to be available. In principle anything can be serviced but I would caution you to know that a platform of this age would not have any of the usual safety devices that make today’s units as safe as they are. It might not even have basic safety interlocks and be somewhat lacking in security devices. All well and good when it was first built but today would be impossible to register as a new design.

    Regards,

    Engineering Manager.

    Niftylift Limited.

Think I’ll be giving this one a body swerve.
