channel letter illumination supplier needed please?
First post so please be gentle with me.
We make and fit amongst other things, 3D acrylic channel letters. On occasion we illuminate our letters with the use of LED’s (coz we can’t do neon). I use a company at the moment to supply the LED’s but I am impressed with neither the company nor the product. Can anybody recommend any UK based company which is able to supply LED’s for channel letters. Your help is very much appreciated. 😉

Hi Signdevil, welcome to UKSB 😀
I don’t know if they are any good but I had a rep round from Amari plastics specialised neon devision and they do all the led stuff now you can get them on 0121 556 4035 if you’re interested.
You could send a PM to Paul Davenport on the site as he does a lot of work in that line too, think he’s quite close to you aswell 😉
If you find a good supplier, come back and let us all know – I have been toying with using leds instead of neon for built-up letters but not made the jump yet.

like nigel has said, amari now do led lighting equipment.
paul davenport, from what he has told me tried and tested various leds.
they come up trumps with one type (unsure the name) and as far as i am aware have become a reseller for the company. he now has his own company so im not sure if he does sell them these days but should definately be able to help you out. 😉best of luck & welcome to the site.
