I have a strange problem with our cutter (it’s around 5 and half years old) than I’d be interested to know if anyone else has experienced before….

As the cutter moves across the page to the left (opposite side to the control panel) it gradually looses the abaility to cut perfect circles so where it stops and finished the circle it is often 0.5-1.5mm out..

I have been through the manual and calibration modes but can’t seem to fix it, I have also changed the cutting strip and knife and still no improvement.

    Any thoughts anyone?

If that machine has adjustable pinch roller pressure have you knocked the lever .

or have a look at the pinch roller and holder looking for cracking or wheel damage

Check the cutter head has no play in it. Apparently the guides can wear slightly. Worth a check.

Just thought I’d feedback, on closer inspection there was play between the bearing on the head and the guide rail, a quick adjustment and all is good now!

    Thanks for the tips
