    Hello

Due to the fact my plotter is more than 10 years old and my mac is 2 years old Im having software compatibility issues.

Usually I just run the CE3000-60 mark 2 form a windows 7 machine with cutting master 2 and send the files to it via adobe libraries but I have to avoid illustrator updates on that windows machine or it wont work

Contacted graphtec and theyre aware of the mac and graphtec not having comparable software but have suggested cutting master 4 with illustrator 2017 on the mac.

Trying that and if i keep unplugging the usb for the mac I can get the graphtec to do the vrooom I’m awake sound with poll size but the send job button just results in ….well nothing really unless I unplug the usb again and this time press send job instead of the pole size which rewards me with the vroom I’m awake sound again but nothing else.

Anyone got any experience of this?

    Hi
just found your post…. I have this annoying issue with my iMac
Have to unplug and plug back in to get it to poll size. I’m using Cutting Master2 Illustrator plug-in.It worked originally for about 2 years… Graphtec are no help at all
… did you ever get it solved??

Having the same issue with my ce6000 and latest version of illustrator to the point where I’m looking at alternatives but I don’t want a full program as I like illustrator. I’ve even considered getting rid and getting the Roland so I can use versaworks

With Rolands you also have the Roland cut studio plug in for illustrator so you can cut direct from it. We use it never have a problem and you can have multiple Roland cutters plugged into your Mac and choose which lettering etc you want each cutter to cut, hope this helps,
