A newer version of Signlab. Signlab is the only program that will read a Signlab file.

Or you can pull the job up on screen, press the "print screen" button on your keyboard. Then open windows paint & go to edit & paste. You will then need to crop the image to remove the signlab icons, menus etc.

Wrong forum btw, this post may be moved! 😉

If you have a fairly recent version of SignLab, I think 7.xx onwards, you have the option to export as a Pdf file, which if it’s purely for viewing purposes is as easy as sending a jpeg and can be opened using the free version of Adobe Acrobat, which may even be easier for most customers especially if they are not trade based. – there is also the option to prevent the file being edited or even printed by the recipient which can make you designs a little more secure.

Hi Steve, I use PDF all the time but didn’t know you can prevent printing-how do you do this?

Sorry Hayley to hi-jack your thread. What version of SL are you using? You can also use the ‘export image’ button under ‘file’, but can’t remember if this is only on later versions…

there is a check box that needs ticking when the pdf dialogue box opens,
you can even password protect it. preventing print isnt really secure, a screen capture gets around that.

If sending PDF it is still better to convert to a jpg though, as then the vectors are not available for copying
