Can anyone out ther in Signland please help…

We run castop plus release3 (wissen)
its the new X1 if that means anything….

We are looking to set up another workstation and I wondered if anyone knew if these two packages are the same animal…

    reason for asking is…
    Castop retails at £1400 approx
    Signgo retails at $329 approx

Had a look on the websites and they look identical…

If you run signgo can you please tell me the file extension prefix

There’s no extra charges other than the dollars when you order it, the only thing that may change is the exchange rate your credit card uses at the time.
When I ordered my SignGo lite licence it arived by E-mail within a few minutes of ordering enabaling you to copy the licence to your hard drive and hey presto its registered.
I must say that the SignGo lite version I ordered was very impressive for the money and even though I have other more expensive software to use I always stick to the SignGo and no I have not got any ties to the company selling it.

We purchased a licence for the full version of Signgo a few months ago after trialling it and have found the program to be excellent. It is very user friendly and has a great “help” system built in – essential since you don’t get any manuals.

I have no knowledge of the program that you have but it is Wissen who sell the licence for Signgo so I would suggest that you query the situation with them. If you go into the Signgo website I’m sure there is a link that allows you to contact Wissen direct.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for everyones input…
I will be phoning wissen in the morning to try & find out why ‘castop plus’ is so expensive compared to ‘signgo’ when they are exactly the same product…I may look at cross-grading to another application if they don’t sort a deal out for me…

thanks again…I’ll update the post whem I know more…

    Phoned Wissen today…
Castop plus is exactly the same as Signgo

Signgo is sold under licence in the states Dongle free

    Wissen get paid a commision

What you don’t get is any telephone support???
This is the first time I’ve phones them???

To upgrade to two licences of castop is £500

If I buy Signgo at £280 ish from tha states. I Will get full support
    because I have Castop…

Had a look at evaluation copy of Signlab E6?? looks the same in principle as Castop (but the buttons are fancier)

So I’m going to buy a copy of Signgo from the States… SORTED

    Thanks for everyones input…

    Hi

Newbie here! I’ve been in the sign industry for 20 years and have used castop by wissen for most of the time. Was about to pay for the castop plus software for my home use but stumbled upon this post. I’m shocked!! Is this true?? Is signgo EXACTLY
The same?? Would I notice any differences between the 2 packages?

    Thanks in advance
